HOW TO BUY A HOME BAR

Basically, we carry three different brands of traditional home bars: Beach, California House, and Darafeev.  Of these brands, Beach offers the largest selection and the most options.  California House offers the best value and they're the only brand that offers cherry wood (the others offer maple with cherry finishes).  Darafeev offers high quality and shorter lead times, but their selection is limited.  Links to each manufacturers products are shown above. First, have you thought about whether or not you want to put a small refrigerator in your bar?  If so, Beach is the only mfr. that offers a refrigerator-ready bar base on most models. Next, measure the area where you plan to place the bar.  Allow enough room to enter the bar from one side.  If you want an L-shaped bar, make certain you have enough room for stools along the short side (return) of the bar.  Most of the bars that Beach offers come in 3 sizes, and an optional return and/or canopy is available.  California House offers returns for all of their bars, but most models only come in one size.  Darafeev also offers returns for their bars, but they do not offer a canopy. Lastly, call and speak with one of our knowledgeable salespeople.  We'll help you find the home bar that's best suited to your needs, and we'll give you the best price on quality bar furniture.  You may find cheaper, Chinese-made bars, but they won't provide the lasting durability of solid wood and American made craftsmanship. Most of the furniture that we sell is made-to-order.  You choose the type of wood and finishing stain (from the manufacturer's selections) and other options. Made-to-order furniture may take as little as 4 weeks or as much as 10 weeks to be made, depending upon the manufacturer's current order backlog. Usually, lead times are shorter during the spring or summer, and longer during fall and winter when order volume is greatest. In most cases you must call us for furniture pricing, because we are not permitted to advertise pricing below MSRP (mfr. suggested retail price). Our pricing is generally 20-30% less than MSRP and our customer service is second to none.  We're here to assist you after the sale.  If there is freight damage or missing parts, we will make it right.  We're not here to make a quick sale - we want you as a customer for life.
