Presidential Pool Tables

The best of modern technology and old-world, hand craftsmanship. Presidential Billiard tables are unique because they use exotic African hardwoods, Teak and Mahogany, and are extensively hand carved. Each table is unique. The carving is started by machine and then all the intricate work is done by hand.

The African Teak is extremely hard, dense and durable and as a result these characteristics make almost indestructible high quality furniture. It is highly scratch or dent resistant and consequently prolongs the beauty of the table. Additionally the tight grain wood has great character and beauty. Table Construction:

The cabinet measures 1 ¼" in thickness. The two cross beams and one long center beam interlock into one another and join directly in the cabinet sidewall to create maximum rigidity. These thick beams increase the structural integrity of the table. Even these internal cross members are made out of top quality Eucalyptus wood.

Presidential Billiard tables use 1" thick premium slate. A one-piece slate support measuring nearly 1" in thickness is used to create a permanent level slate foundation. All components on the frame are bolted together using spring tension washers. Only premium grade hardware is used. The tables are both machine and hand carved.

The cushions used are BCA tournament approved K-66 profile. Only top quality rubbers with canvas backing are used on our tables to ensure an incredibly accurate rebound. The billiard table is finished using only the best stains with pre-catalyzed wood lacquers to achieve an excellent uniform furniture finish.

Presidential Billiard tables come with a lifetime warranty.

African Teak:

Teak is valued at more than twice that of mahogany and four times oak. African Teak, used in Presidential Billiard tables, is extremely rare and only found in a few countries on the African continent.

The Teak utilized is harvested under the strict control of the Zimbabwe Forestry Commission. It is not clear-cut and the harvesting method utilized promotes rapid re-growth and is not endangering to the habitat.

African Teak weighs 56 Ibs/ft3 compared to American Walnut that weighs 40 Ibs/ft3.
